Fire dampers installed in ventilation ducts (ventilation systems) are intended to automatically close fire compartments.
The BKA-EN fire damper complies with the product standard EN 15650.
The BKA-EN has been tested in accordance with EN 1366-2.
CE marking and declaration of performance (DoP) in accordance with the Construction Products Directive. Classification according to EN 13501-3 is EI 30 (ve, i↔o) S to EI 90 (ve, hoi↔o) S.

For optimum integration into the building management system via the EasyBus signalling and switching bus system from SCHAKO or the BKSYS fire damper mini-controller from SCHAKO.
In accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU, EC Certificate of Conformity No. EPS 09 ATEX 2 153 X, use as an ATEX variant is permitted in areas subject to explosion hazards.

• For automatic closure of fire sections.
• Connection of a smoke release device with abZ (e.g. SCHAKO smoke detection system RMS) in combination with suitable release devices (e.g. spring return actuator) also possible.
